Farah Abdallah Akoum
Farah is a product leader with 15+ years of experience. She currently oversees Zillow search and discovery org. Her product team is responsible for the homepage, search map and listings results, personalization, search ranking, saved search, and home recommendation for online and offline channels.
Before joining Zillow, Farah worked at eBay and before that at the United Nations. She’s one of the co-founders of the Women In Product chapter in Seattle. She is also one of the founding board members of the University of Washington product management program.
Farah is a change agent, innovating on behalf of the customers and championing a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
She enjoys working on novel complex problems at the intersection of AI technology and social impact.
She leads the strategy and product development of global internet products covering different industries: e-commerce, e-government, real estate, and logistics.
She manages large teams across wide geographies and skills and has experience communicating and working with executives.

Outside work, Farah’s a mom of two amazing children and the wife of a caring cardiologist. She spends time cooking, doing outdoor activities and reading books, and listening to podcasts!
