Miriam Tinberg

As part of the Innovation team, Miriam is the Product Manager for Spot On, Planned Parenthood’s period and birth control tracking app. Miriam has a strong interest in ethical technology, organizational psychology, and social impact. She is passionate about building products that center underrepresented users and solving pain points and often overlooked questions.

After obtaining her Bachelors in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic, she received a Fulbright scholarship to Morocco where she taught English to university students and ended up teaching a course on technology in the classroom. After years in higher education and non-profit international education, she formally made her way into tech, starting with Marketing at Tumblr and then 5G Partnerships at Verizon. All of this culminated in her discovering the world of Product.

When not at work, she is usually reading, listening to a podcast, or attempting to start more hobbies that aren’t screen-related. Miriam was born and raised in Rhode Island and is currently based in Los Angeles — but she will always be a New Englander at heart!
