Speaker Database Application
The Women In Product Speaker Database aims to create opportunities and increase visibility for women in product. By curating this public resource, we hope to introduce product managers at all levels to a variety of speaking opportunities including the Women In Product Conference, chapter events, and beyond.
FAQ
Who should apply? Anyone open to speaking engagements big and small, however, we cannot guarantee you will be contacted.
What is your criteria for selecting speakers? All speakers who apply will be part of our speaker database that is accessible to our community and chapter leaders. At this time, our public-facing database will only include those who have spoken at a past Women In Product event.
How will my information be used? We hope to share this database with other tech event organizers, media outlets, and fellow non-profit organizations to promote and bring visibility to women product leaders.
Will I be paid for speaking engagements? Presenting at the Women In Product Conference and chapter events are volunteer opportunities and compensation for speaking fees and travel is not provided. Inquiries made via the public speaker database may include opportunities to negotiate for fees – but are not guaranteed. You are under no obligation to accept speaking requests you receive.
What should I expect after submitting? How and when will I be contacted? This database is designed to be a resource for event organizers and media creators, including the Women In Product chapters, to introduce them to qualified women in product speakers. We cannot guarantee speaking or media requests. If an event organizer requests contact, your Speaker Database Contact Email will be shared with them.
